LA Refractories Co. Ltd is China’s premier manufacturer of magnesia based refractories. Founded in 1988, we have been supplying world class magnesia products to the Iron & Steel industry for 30 years. Located in North East China, our factory lies in the heart of the region known as the ’Magnesia Capital of the World’.

We have an extensive manufacturing site, covering 200,000 m2, fully equipped with 12 high frequency electric furnaces, producing up to 4,000 tonnes per annum of a range of high quality fused magnesia materials, including high calcium, low silicon and large crystal grades. Our 16 advanced hydraulic presses produce magnesia-carbon, magnesia-alumina-carbon and alumina-carbon bricks, and have an annual output of 100,000 tonnes. We have 2 state-of-the-art tunnel kilns with an annual output of 50,000 tonnes, producing high quality magnesia, magnesia-chrome and magnesia-alumina spinel bricks. We can produce up to 20,000 tonnes per annum on our pre-shaped refractories line and 100,000 tonnes per annum on our monolithic refractories line. Product quality and customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do in LA Refractories, and we are fully certified to ISO9001:2000.

Our extensive team of highly experienced refractory engineers and steel making experts support our customers closely through application engineering and product development. LA Refractories is a high-tech enterprise of Liaoning province and we have close co-operation with several major industry R&D institutes, including the Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research, Wuhan Metallurgy University of Science and Technology, Liaoning Science and Technology University and the Beijing Science and Technology University. In addition to the Iron & Steel industry, our products are also widely used throughout the non-ferrous, glass, ceramics, cement, petrochemical and power generation industries in China.
